      Salaries in Finance

      works at Morgan Stanley
      2w

Looking for officer advice. I've been headhunted for a role at BNP. Risk. Title promo to VP from director, and 30k on top of my current salary. I'm essentially confirmed for VP this year but don't know the bandings for a p4 VP, and have political capital here I don't want to burn. As much as everyone here enjoys a moan, I like the firm, my peers and the culture. I do feel like I'd be stupid to turn down a 30k bump and title bump though. Has anyone been here, waited and it paid off for them?

      Accounting

      works at RSM
      8mo

Do you guys like RSM? Their early work was a little too regional for my taste you know, all those mid-market audit engagements and local tax compliance gigs. But when they rebranded and unified globally, I think they really came into their own commercially and strategically. The whole firm has a cleaner, more corporate sound now, a tight, professional synergy that really gives the brand a big boost.

Hi all — looking for some comp benchmarks. What’s a fair package in NYC for a Head of Data & AI / Data & AI Lead with ~18 years of experience at a firm like Carlyle Group (or equivalent in private equity / asset management)? Specifically: Base salary Annual bonus % RSUs / equity Would really appreciate any insights from folks who’ve seen or negotiated offers at this level This is for VP position

      Product Management

      Senior Product Manager
      4mo

Just received an offer for a PM role at Capital One Salary Band provided: $179.7k - $205.1k Two questions for the C1 folks: Negotiation: Has anyone successfully negotiated to the top of this band ($205k) or above recently? HR is claiming the top is a "hard ceiling." Comp Structure: Is it true there are no RSUs/LTI at the Manager level? Is the only lever for negotiation Base?

Private Equity and the Buy Side

      Consultant
      1mo

I have an opportunity to be CFO/controller of a $4M EBITDA facility services business. It’s growing, the owner is looking to sell in 3-5 years, and I’m currently negotiating equity. Base comp is break even, no substantial bonus expected. I’m struggling between this opportunity and remaining in IB. How would you assess the risk/reward trade off here?

Hi Fishes, Had a walk-in interview at BNP Paribas ISPL in Mumbai. After tech and managerial rounds, I got a pre-offer document email next day. Does this mean I'm in? 🤔 It's been two days since I submitted docs, no HR response. 😟 Any thoughts? If they ask for document means it's positive? Bnp paribas ispl BNP Paribas
