What's the one CRO concept most junior marketers struggle with? We were debating if it's understanding statistical significance in A/B tests or digging into qualitative data (like session recordings). This led us to create a full "back to basics" study guide covering the three pillars: Psychology, Analytics, and Testing. It’s designed as a complete lesson plan to get anyone up to speed. Curious to see what we covered? Full guide here: www.seosiri.com/2025/10/cro-study-guide.html

Securities counsel at public company - path to CLO or GC? Hi all, I am a capital markets associate at a BL firm and my desire is to be CLO or GC of a public company (I know...way easier said than done and yes, I know that the work load is probably insane...but it's nonetheless something I am aspiring to). My question, and I get that it's probably too late now if the answer is no, is being securities IHC at a pubco a viable path to CLO? Curious what people's experiences are down this path

      Interview Tips

Recently interviewed for a Sales Manager role at Salesforce. I picked a specific example from my experience leading cross-functional sales initiatives... walked through how I’ve built account plans that prioritize retention and multi-year growth with their CRM. And hey, that helped! Got a second round coming up. Do you like to prepare 1-2 examples that are connected to the company you're applying for? Using one of their products/services? Understanding that sometimes it's just too hard to.

I know startups these days are tech focused, anyone interested in something more physical? I am looking at an agricultural co-op based on Italian models, where farmers pool capital and own the entire value chain. Either small specialty dairy or meat farms where output is process in a co-op facility and then sold either DTC or wholesale. This means no middleman squeezing the farmers and much higher margins for them. can still have same corporate style benefits like insurance, PTO, etc..

Looking for advice on how to switch from a site regulatory/start up coordinator to a remote job with a CRO/sponsor? I am not patient-facing, but have taken care of regulatory, start up, finance/budgets/CTA, IRBs, eISF, vendors, portals, SOP/policies, and just about everything else (not patient facing) at our site for 20 years, but I am having trouble find a job on the CRO/sponsor side, as most seem to want multiple years of experience on the CRO/sponsor side to be considered for a job.

Any referrals for software roles around Provo / SLC? 5 yrs exp, I've done it all - frontend, backend, infrastructure / devops, cli tooling, desktop cpp apps, android / iphone apps, AI workflows / RAG. Been an IC, a lead, worked in startup / mid-stage companies, designed and planned many systems from 0-1. Some of my work is in front of hundreds of thousands of people every day. I went to college but had to withdraw (year out from bachelors) because I'm homeless. Any advice appreciated!

Reckitt’s recruitment for its Warsaw Global Hub was shockingly incompetent. For a Senior Accounting Manager role, I was asked first-semester accounting questions like the difference between a balance sheet and P&L, then how to book an invoice. I was later told my accounting knowledge was insufficient—despite my PhD in Accounting and teaching experience. Both interviewers - BA, one proudly cited passing 3 of 14 ACCA exams, which says everything.

Newish equity partner here (2012 Grad) and I have some advice for associates I wish someone would have told me ten years ago. DONT TRY TO PLEASE EVERYONE. It likely won't work and you will burn out. It is much easier and safer to pick a small group to please and forsake everyone else. This comes naturally to some but it was a struggle for me.

Work has slowed down in my group, and the managing partner has completely lost the plot. Sending erratic, threatening emails. Pushing people out with zero professionalism. Clearly unraveling under pressure. The way things have been handled lately is so sloppy and aggressive, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone ends up filing with the EEOC.
