I just had the weirdest phone screen ever for an HR Generalist position. She’s the HR manager and she was like what is W4, what is a I9 used for? What does the EEOC stand for? I was so thrown off by a pop quiz like that 😂. She’s like I’m looking to fill this position by the end of next week when could you start. I was like after giving two weeks and she was like nothing sooner? She was so assertive and brazen. I don’t about this. I have a second interview scheduled for later today though.
I have been employed at H&R Healthcare for 17 plus years now. An excellent place to work at. We have a great management team that is ready to listen to any concerns we may have and provide us the support we need to do our jobs to the best of our ability. The owners of H&R Healthcare talk about us being part of the team and are always thanking us for our hard work. I am proud of the work we do and have enjoyed helping and watching this company grow year after year!!
Why it is so difficult nowadays for H-1B Visa holders to get even the Interview Calls. Forget about the Offers and the Jobs, no organization is even short listing the H-1 Visa for any Role or Position. Should not the Employer clearly mention "This is not for H1 Visa"? It is so frustrating that after spending 10-15 minutes for an application and then later see a Resume Rejection email in few minutes. Will it be sorted out sooner or later?
Nothing against the Health and Safety profession, but what really bothers me is when H&S is lumped together with a Facilities Manager (FM) role. They are two seperate entities, yet an H&S Advisor seems to trump someone with years of FM experience, qualifications and overall education. So, an organisation will employ a "H&S and Facilities Manager' while focusing on the former category, but not vice versa.

The consulting bowl is having such a reaction to the this H1B order is understandable, I think it’s also understandable and made evident that as a country we have a big reliance (maybe over reliance) on H1Bs and that’s not necessarily a great thing either. Was hoping for a better middle ground than this.
For a long time, leaders have been accustomed to H1B employees simply agreeing with them. It would benefit many of them to experience constructive pushback. You can often sense the discomfort when someone raises questions — even when those questions are completely valid. I hope this happens before they abolish the visa class altogether.
Hi! I interviewed for a coordinating manager at HHC and I think it went pretty well. I’ve interviewed a few times under the HHC umbrella but nothing has stuck yet. I’m pretty excited about this one and I’m wondering does anyone have any experience with the turnaround time and process for follow up/ hiring process within HHC?
Anyone familiar with the business management for HNWIs industry? Considering moving from audit to firms like NKSFB, Gelfand, Rennert, & Feldman etc., to work in their business management department. Is it possible to make a lateral transition? Just want to enjoy my job for once and that career actually sounds fun.
