I used to think free lunch, game rooms, and fancy office gyms were signs of a "good culture." Now I realize they are just relatively cheap ways to keep you in the building longer. A $15 lunch is a small price for the company to pay to get an extra hour of work out of you. Would you trade all the "fun" office perks for a straight 10% raise and the ability to go home at 5 PM?
