Has anyone heard of SPC Consulting LLC? I just received a job offer from them which is a customer service remote position. They’ve sent everything to me like the W-4 form, I-9 form and even a check for almost $4,000 to purchase everything I will need to do the job. But I haven’t given them any of my information because I’m not sure if it’s legit. The hiring manager asked me to deposit the check using my mobile banking app and to send him a screenshot of the funds as proof. It sounds like a scam.

Who all has specific commercialization and business development teams and what role does your finance team play in it? We just kicked off a focus on growth and finance wasn’t included on commercialization of new products or partnerships beyond given tasks to review mutliple stages into the project. Is this the norm or am I reasonable to feel annoyed that finance is perceived as a check the box team.

Every time I apply for Chase as a relationship banker, I get no longer under consideration which is frustrating even though I am well qualified with B.A. and experience.
