Hi everyone!!! I am planning to visit Switzerland in October for the first time.I have heard about cities like Bern, Basel, Geneva, Zurich. I would like to visit two of them, but I don't know which to choose (I would like the two cities to show a slightly different Switzerland, or at least the atmosphere). I plan to spend at least 3 days in each of the two cities, but I haven't made up my mind yet. I would be grateful for your opinion on which two cities are the best to visit, what to do there.

Which strategy consulting firms in Zurich don’t require fluent German? I’m seeking to relocate from Berlin. Has anyone left the insurance industry for a completely different industry? If so, where did you go? Any regrets? I have been in insurance for a few years and I’m starting to think maybe it’s just not for me. I’m currently in claims and I dislike it. I’ve tried to get into underwriting for a change, but I have experienced nothing but obstacles, from office politics to flat out rejection and it all has me wondering if it’s my company, or this industry I need to shift away from.

Three months ago I was put on leave because of my mental health due to this job. I had a plan to kill myself. I’ve since then started seeing a psychiatrist and have been put on anti depressants. Today, PWCs insurance company told me my entire leave claim was denied. Immediately after the call, they sent the police to my house for a mental health check. PwC has completely ruined my mental health.

Had my first interview with the hiring manager for a middle market role at Zurich insurance group. She said I’d have about 10 agents assigned to me which makes me nervous from the 40 I have now. Does anyone have any insight on if it’s difficult to reach their NB goal? Manager said 8 visits a month, can I do more? Interview went over so I couldn’t ask Zurich Insurance Company Ltd all my questions.

We have all our insurance through USAA (homeowners, car, rental property, umbrella). We recently refinanced and had two different mortgage companies tell us our homeowners policy is expensive. We’re located in Westchester County. Who do you use for insurance, and how did you find them? Would you recommend an insurance broker? If so, would you use someone local to your town? Thank you.

Hi, I had my final round interview at Zurich Insurance 3 weeks ago and the recruiter told me I should heard from the hiring team. For the last 3 weeks the application status was « Interview » but today it was changed to « No longer under consideration », however I have not received a rejection email. Does that mean I was not selected for the role or I should still hope to hear from them?

Anyone have any insights on how Zurich Insurance Company Ltd’s middle market is set up? It looks like it’s all segmented into industries. I have an interview for a middle market underwriter role, however it doesn’t specify what business unit. Is there a “generalist” unit or do all BU’s handle their own industry? Coming from a generalist team at Travelers.
