Featured Review

Former Employee - Regional Sales Manager

I worked at Gerresheimer full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Large industrial international group, present in Europe, Asia, Americas but without usual corporate complications. Profitable activities with associated good salaries.

Cons

Not many job opportunities in Sales, little incentive to rotation: employees tend to keep their job for a long, very long time, sometimes for 10, 15 or more years. For a varied career, prefer... operations based jobs, usually large sites>500 people.

Former Employee - Front End Supervisor

I worked at Shoprite Supermarkets part-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Great social environment, build great skills for future jobs, flexible hours, flexibility in which department you want to work in, great management. Shop Rite gave me the opportunity to learn from... the ground up, and I worked my way up from cashier to front end runner while also dabbling in other departments. I worked here for 6 years until I couldn’t grow anymore.

Cons

Despite enjoying the social life I had at Shop Rite, sometimes it could get a little gossipy. Despite great managers sometimes there were miscommunications.

Advice to Management

I worked for a Village Shop Rite— you are doing great compared to Ronetco. Only advice is that there needs to be better communication and better enforcement of rules and policies among all... departments, keep it consistent.
