Current Employee - RN Care Manager

I have been working at Humana full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Work from home Great pay Generous PTO Fantastic Culture Ever Changing no boredom Appreciation Most benefits great Generous 401k match Autonomy

Cons

Expensive out of pocket for those needing medical care Can be isolating work from home In the past has been stressful. Right now not though.

Advice to Management

Change consumer driven insc. Too much out of pocket. Keep caring about us. It is working!!!!

I worked at VITAS Healthcare

Pros

It's great to offer Vitas services to the physicians offices and hospitals. Vitas is the best in caring for your love ones. The nurses and the caregivers are amazing,they really care!

Cons

Stressful job due to pressure from your manager. 1st time you don't hit your monthly goal the rep will get verbal warning. 2nd month you don't hit your goal the rep will get written warning, 3rd... month is final written warning and 4th month the rep is out! The turnover for this job is fast, Vitas can't hold on to great Reps due to pressure given by the management. Once the rep hits the goal on a monthly basis, the manager will increase your goal the following quarter not considering a lot of factors. I loved doing my job as a Vitas but the unreasonable pressure is too much!

Advice to Management

Be considerate of your Reps, don't give them unreasonable goals to achieve!
