I have been working at Lovisa full-time for more than 5 years
Environment of strong women that support team and help them progress towards their goals should they want it. Management is always there to listen and help you if you're having a tough time, they... are open to feedback and take it on. General expectation is for team to come in, work hard, deliver and leave at 5:30 each day. Junior team are encouraged to leave no later than 6pm each evening in order to promote a happier work life balance. The whole team works really hard and is held to high standards to ensure we're working to deliver the best product in the world. The team has a strong bond and support for one another, development plans are put into place to ensure you're taking the steps you need to progress in your career should you want this. This is an environment where determined hard working team with business acumen will flourish and be supported should they want to put in the hard work. This is the dream job a million girls would kill for but, like everything in life, you get out what you put in.
Unfortunately with the fashion industry in general there is high turnover, people come into a business wanting the glamorous life portrayed in the movies. I've seen team come and go, most believe... they're entitled to something greater than what they're doing without working for it.
