I worked at New Western for more than a year
100% commission, eat what you kill environment. Absolute meritocracy. The top sales guy will make a very comfortable 6 figures, the bottom sales guys might not make 20. If you are already a confident..., talented salesman it is easy to latch on to the system they teach you and start making good money very soon. Also a really fun place to work. It's got a "Stratton Oakmont '91" type culture.
100% commission. If you are shy, or more technically oriented as opposed to people oriented; this may not be the place for you. The top sales guys are not going to share there contacts with you... (although they might give you some tips if you ask); your going to have to claw your way to the top same as they did. Also, it can be stressful. This is more of a lifestyle than a 9-5 job. If you are the type who can buy into something with all your heart and soul you will do really well here. If you are looking for a career that you can leave at the office everyday at 5, you won't be happy here.
Advice to Management
The company is what it is, and they never try to frame it as something else. Keep doing what your doing! I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and made a good cushion for my savings before parting ways... to finish my education.
I worked at first direct full-time for more than a year
Moneys decent after a year or two working there
Two faced office environment, feels like slave labour to take calls constant, if your a minute over your break or go to the toilet your will get pulled up
Advice to Management
Relax, your nothing outside of work
