I worked at Slaughter and May for less than a year

Pros

Well paid internship, which mainly emphasised benefits for the student rather us actually doing much work for them

Cons

Depends very much on your supervisor/how busy they are how much they involve you in their work. I know that some students were barely given anything at all and so did a lot of sitting around, just... working on the 'project' we were assigned
