How are senior leaders perceived at Asset Guru?

Pros

Absolutely NO pros, this company is a joke.

Cons

The CEO has no idea what he is doing. No leadership, no control of his own business. No transparency with staff. Micromanaging. Hiring new staff even knowing they have no revenue coming and ruining peoples lives.

Advice to Management

Shut down the business, it will never succeed.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Asset Guru?

Pros

There are NONE! This place is a joke.

Cons

▪ No business plan or clear strategy from the beginning ▪Management continued to lack direction despite seeking advice as he never took any of it onboard ▪ Management continued to hire or retain staff not well suited for their role or for the business even though he literally was at the point of avoiding certain team members ▪ Management was in clear and constant denial about the trajectory of the business and continued to hire new staff even though a reasonable person should have been able to foresee that the additional headcount was not sustainable ▪Severe lack of communication with all team members about everything from business goals to payroll ▪Management never celebrated wins and blamed issues or losses on everyone else instead of trying to understand the situation in order to improve the business, the team or himself ▪No work life balance and you are judged for not putting in the same hours as the boss (i.e. not working beyond the office hours) ▪Not receptive to new ideas or solutions that have clearly worked for other start ups ▪Extreme distrust for the entire team

Advice to Management

Close the business and never run another one again because you are a poor leader and manager and have little to no business sense.
