Does there seem to be diversity at Audi?

Pros

I did an internship in an engineering department and the topic and the supervision were quite ok. It is a very cool feeling to be in the place where your childhood dreams are built and seeing prototypes driving around the factory is very thrilling. The canteen is really one of the best I have ever eaten at. The city is small but lovely.

Cons

From what I understood, most of the beefy engineering tasks are all outsourced to Dienstleister, so Audi engineers do mainly system integration, skype and powerpoint. If you want to learn something real in your internship, go to one of the Dienstleister. The social interaction with the colleagues was a disaster. From what I have seen and heard, it can be difficult to integrate in the teams and make career if you are not from the region. I probably gave up too early, but hearing arrogant comments about other nationals was quite the turn off. There is a big lack of diversity, few internationals and women.
