How are the career development opportunities at Deloitte?

Pros

Inclusive culture, growth and leadership opportunities, flexible work arrangements, strong brand recognition, 24 weeks of family leave for birth mothers, excellent paid time off available

Cons

Can be tough to adjust to face paced lifestyle but after a few months you will settle in. Everyone is welcoming and happy to help.

Advice to Management

Continue to focus on wellness initiatives and remote work opportunities.

Why do Deloitte employees quit?

Pros

1. Great workspace 2. Very friendly environment 3. Lots of activities 4. Corporate culture 5. Really well work/life balance even as a contractor! (This is a big one)

Cons

1. Contractors cannot participate in a lot of things 2. No bonuses, awards, appriciation 3. Very difficult to get converted in the same team if you go on a contract as a fresher 4. Very recently, all contracts were terminated on a one day notice because of COVID-19 (Hence unstable)

How are promotions handled at Deloitte?

Pros

Flexible working conditions and hours, great people, fun teams, interesting clients, great career opportunities for those who are high performers or have connections (overseas secondments, early promotions etc.)

Cons

poor work life balance, low pay, no bonuses, significantly under resourced, very high turnover (no continuity on engagements), high pressure, minimal coaching due to poor resourcing

Advice to Management

Pay employees more and there won't be such high turnover
