Pros
mental health days, some teams / full time employees seem very happy
Cons
As a contract employee at DoorDash, it was clear that contractors are treated as a bit more second-class. The onboarding process lacked sufficient support, leaving you to figure things out on your own. While diving in and adapting is part of the job, it became nearly impossible with priorities shifting constantly—sometimes minute by minute.
The work environment often felt overly focused on nitpicking minor, inconsequential details rather than addressing the bigger picture. When my contract ended, my contributions were barely acknowledged, which was incredibly disheartening. Perhaps full-time employees have a more positive experience, but this was mine.
