Does IGT offer dental insurance?

Pros

-Good work atmosphere -Somewhat flexible hours -Good at recognizing effort that goes above and beyond. -Great people to work with -Good benefits (health, dental, vision, wellness, etc.) -Great work culture -Excellent Diversity and Inclusion

Cons

-No bonuses for anyone that I was aware of. -When recognized as a great performer does not show in paycheck - only in recognition. (Gift Cards, swag, etc.) -Not much room for upward movement

Advice to Management

Need to at least give cost of living raises to employees that are doing well and give decent raises to outstanding performers. Need to show recognition but also give bonuses to those who do outstanding work.

Does IGT offer parental leave?

Pros

The benefits package IGT offers is very competitive and includes paternity leave and great insurance. There is an onsite cafeteria and gym, and also a good holiday and time off schedule. Great staff that is not in management.

Cons

Although they offer a ton of benefits, it is frowned upon to utilize them. When you have PTO and Holidays, you are expected to not use them. They remain severely understaffed and are in a constant state of transition. Lay offs are a thing here, so you just need to be prepared for that at all times.

Advice to Management

Managers are amazing. The senior staff however, needs training on emotional intelligence and how to work with a diverse team. Senior management is disengaged and plays favorites with who they promote. It generally has nothing to do with ability and more to do with who they like. This company has a high turnover due to great employees leaving for other opportunities and others being laid off. The company is in the habit of laying off experienced workers and hiring in interns and temps to do the job for much less money and no benefits.

Does IGT offer malpractice insurance?

Pros

Excellent insurance, good pay, gym and cafeteria on-site.

Cons

The company has been declining for years due to new leadership from outside the industry. It has so much potential.

Advice to Management

Stop trying to cut your way to prosperity. Be brave and innovate, instead of trying to follow competitors
