How are the career development opportunities at Jabmo?

Pros

-Visionary Leaders -Innovative technology -Talented leadership -Excellent communication -Great corporate culture -Competitive salary and benefits -International team/travel opportunities -Lots of autonomy to perform at your best -Leadership that values your opinion and supports you in attaining your objectives -Sweets and treats provided by the company! -Collaborative working teams where employees are valued, empowered and supported so that they can actively contribute to the growth and profitability of the company, while advancing in their respective career as well.

Cons

Nothing negative to say. The team is great!

What kind of career opportunities exist at Jabmo?

Pros

1) Great Learning Opportunity - Unlike traditional companies, there is an opportunity to learn a lot of new stuff that relates to your field or even various other fields. Eg:- I am a software developer but I got the opportunity to understand the sales processes as well. 2) High Exposure - The company is headquartered in Paris and has offices at various other places around the world. There is a high chance that you will meet people form other parts of the world. 3) Awesome work culture - There is no micro-management and people are trusted with their work. The R&D team is also extraordinary to work with. 4) Free Snacks - The office suites are loaded with snacks and drinks of your choice. 5)Work travel to Paris - Although I joined Jabmo US just 2 weeks ago, I was given a chance to travel to Paris to meet our team there and discuss about work plans. But it's Paris........ :) 6) Free Goodies - On my on boarding, I got a lot of stuff like t-shirts, ear phones, jacket, mug, name magnets to name a few apart from the coolest coolest laptop. We also have the awesome electronic stand up desk at our workstations.

Cons

1) Sometimes it gets noisy if people start taking calls at their desks. 2) It is really difficult to stay away from snacks when it's so close. I cannot think of other disadvantages right now as it has only been less than a month that I started working here. It has been a great experience so far. People are really helpful and concerned about each other.

What is the feeling of job security at Jabmo?

Pros

-Very Good Salary -Awesome co-workers -Start up mentality

Cons

-Zero Implication of Employees in Mauritius Office -High Turnover rate for some locations (Over 60% for 2019) -Management completely ignores engagement surveys even though results are abysmal -Some Teams (Particularly Ad Operations) are basically the waste bin for tasks that other teams do not want to handle. -Job Security is non-existent. People get fired and key members of management are forever leaving.

Advice to Management

Treat your employees with care and listen to what they have to say as employees carry the company on their shoulders. Valuable talent has been lost that could have been exploited to raise Jabmo to greater heights.

How are senior leaders perceived at Jabmo?

Pros

The CEO has an amazing vision. He is inspiring. They are solving a real problem. Fast paced and a great place to learn.

Cons

Some managers are toxic. Micro management to the fullest. Treated like robots. If 1+1 = 2 ? why didn't you produce 2? over focused on numbers and not on holistic performance (qualitative factors) Some incompetent people hired as managers - they manage large teams but they don't have the skills to do that. Focus on cutting costs and not giving back to the employees.

Advice to Management

Respect your employees. Treat them well and they will deliver more than what they are paid to do.

What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Jabmo?

Pros

salary was alright, culture at the time was good with Laurent, David Etc.

Cons

Running around in circle. Company was confused as how to apply the daily tactics into plan to reach the strategic big goals

Advice to Management

Listen to everybody in the team.
