What kind of career opportunities exist at Joseph Ribkoff?

Pros

Met some really nice co-workers. THATS IT.

Cons

Treats employees like numbers instead of humans. HR will make you think you can trust them but you cannot. Anything you say to them confidentially WILL get spread throughout the entire company. Management makes you think you have opportunities for growth, but they are just stringing you along. They force the sales team to drown their clients with product until they go bankrupt. Sales managers are never satisfied.

Advice to Management

Stop drinking the JR kool aid.

What is the feeling of job security at Joseph Ribkoff?

sales, discount, insurances, nothing more

Cons

Nobody is promoted, ever, except if you are already a manager. people are fired for no reason. no job security low salary

Advice to Management

stop firing people for no reason. Everybody is afraid for their position. Everybody.

Are transfers to other offices possible with Joseph Ribkoff?

Pros

-good salary -great people to work with -goos sales training

Cons

-managers are very pushy with sales -A LOT of driving, even in the winter with bad conditions -Mostly driving to small towns -A lot of heavy lifting -Few opportunities to grow within the company

Advice to Management

have more compassion for employees who have to drive to remote places in the winter. It's very dangerous! Perhaps implement ways of selling virtually.
