How are the career development opportunities at KPMG?

Pros

Great culture, a lot of opportunities for promotion, flexibility, more PTO days than anywhere else

Cons

Busy season hours suck, a lot of work, high stress level most of the time

What kind of career opportunities exist at KPMG?

Pros

International firm with financial perks (vouchers, etc), opportunities to go on trainings that give certifications globally reknown, thought leadership insights available through conferences (internal videos and articles), various projects and various team members, Senior management communicate a lot about diversity and inclusivity

Cons

Burn out situations are very common, projects require very long working hours, salaries are low, some teams are led by senior leaders who don't look after their people

Advice to Management

While there has been a significant amount of comms on encouraging diversity and inclusivity from the Senior Leadership, we have barely seen the actions on the ground. It's time to walk the talk

Does KPMG have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

Great people, lots of social events, nice offices, lots of training, diversity, great networking events/groups, flexible hours and working from home opportunities

Cons

Long hours, no pay for overtime, Low salary/bonus, no real career progression, poor performance isn’t dealt with correctly, understaffed, unrealistic workloads/expectations
