Does LEAP Dev offer massages?
Pros
- True flexible working arrangements, from hours, to location, and more - A passionate team of highly skilled individuals that really know their domain - Fun social events and boat parties - Quarterly goals help keep everyone aligned and focussed - A sweet office with coffee, beer, and snacks galore!
Cons
- A bit harder to get to know people remotely, but that's a reflection of remote work not the company per se, as everyone has been helpful and friendly - Honestly none that I can think of so far
Advice to Management
Keep supporting workers remotely, keep social events alive with or without lockdowns.

How are the career development opportunities at LEAP Dev?
Pros
Great management team - The whole management/leadership team is filled with people who trust and understand their team and know what staff need to get their work done. Excellent People - If I want/need to approach anyone in the company I am always treated with respect and my query answered, plus everyone generally knows how to get along with others. Best Work Culture - Shoutout to the HR team who are always doing their best no matter the scenario to improve the workplace and create somewhere people love to work in or out of the office.
Cons
- Poor feedback/communication to internal job applicants - Internal job applications made by staff for open positions receive little/no feedback and communication regarding their application. - CEO & Chairman against working from home/remotely - Allowances only made for the pandemic and individual circumstances. (No company-wide policy) - Limited learning opportunities available outside of Pluralsight - No external courses/certifications/opportunities available to motivate career progression. Unsure if this is due to lack of policy or overall lack of people speaking up. - Salary is below average for my role even after salary reviews and bonus.
Advice to Management
Overall my advice would be to work on supporting employee career progression and creating opportunities for those to explore and learn other roles that might be of interest. Furthermore, the general thought of WFH/Remote work by executive management is outdated and I believe there should be a general company-wide policy supporting employees.
No external courses/certifications/opportunities available to motivate career progression.
