What is the retirement plan like at Marathon Oil?

Pension, 7% 401k 100% matching

Cons

Leadership is too risk averse and takes too long to make decisions. The company wants to be "bold" but with the current leaders EOG will continue to leave Marathon in the dust. HR offers salary lower than previous/ current Leadership doesn't lead and relies on individual contributors to make the hard decisions. Promotes internal competition leading to toxic relationships rather than a true one team mentality.

Advice to Management

Better off being bought by a major and cleaning house
