Does NV Energy offer a yearly bonus?

Pros

The internship program usually begins when your Spring semester ends and lasts till the end of next Spring semester (1 Year). The company rotates your internship between different departments when you reapply for the next year. Some departments had great meaningful work. Very easy-going and professional work culture. They seem to prioritize promoting from within since all of my bosses were also ex-interns from years back. So it looks like there's definitely upwards mobility within this company.

Cons

The internship rotations seems random. For one year, I was placed into a department where I felt like they didn't even needed an intern. Also, meaningful work comes and goes. Sometimes, you will be busy all-day for a week or two, and then all of sudden, there's no suitable intern work for weeks to come. I suspect its because managers require interns for a specific project and once the project is finished, there's no more work for the intern to do. The managers are very hands-off and you are thrown into the deep end to learn on your own.

Advice to Management

This is for the managers: don't ask for interns if you can't provide them with meaningful work for an extended period of time.
