Pros

The business has an amazing culture with fantastic people, and that culture is consistent across all offices globally. The induction is great and you are offered training to get you up to speed on the industry. You're given support when needed but more importantly you are trusted as an expert in your role and given the bandwidth to be creative. Visibility of what is happening at executive level is given consistently through frequent communication.

Cons

Nothing to note at this stage

The induction is great and you are offered training to get you up to speed on the industry.

Pros

A great collaborative team culture with plenty of smart, energetic leaders driving real progress and change. It’s a fast paced environment in an industry that’s gaining positive upward momentum. There is a real emphasis now on training, development and upskilling. While it is still a fairly young company with a relatively flat organisational structure, I disagree with some of the other comments that say it’s hard to progress in the company unless there is a vacated position. My own experience has shown that if you are fearless, have the right attitude, own the role and consistently bring your A-game, then opportunities will open up for you. That is true meritocracy.

Cons

Working in a fast paced fintech environment that is rapidly growing can sometimes feel challenging. If you are the type that likes structure and is not comfortable operating with ambiguity then this place may not suit you. However if you are the type that is excited by the challenges and opportunities presented by ambiguity then you will thrive in this place.

Advice to Management

You managed the Covid period extraordinary well and looked after staff. Keep doing what you are doing, looking after the well being of staff, supporting staff with flexible working arrangements, providing a fun office environment and fostering a culture that has allowed talented people leaders and their teams to flourish.

There is a real emphasis now on training, development and upskilling.
