Does PwC offer massages?

Pros

Good job for what it is, free coffee, paid lunches and cabs during overtime periods.

Cons

Little to no advancement, as expected from this line of work, high turnaround of contract staff. Lots of workload during tax season. The biggest downside though is a hour long weekly meeting that goes nowhere and could've been spent better doing literally anything else

Does PwC offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great starting pay with multiple bonus opportunities. Great benefits and programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, wellness program, 401(k), and an additional pension plan that is completely firm funded. They even pay a portion of your student debt each month. Flexible. Can work remotely. Cell phone provided. Company credit card. Extensive 2-week training. Great technology.

Cons

There isn't a work/life balance, late hours and work weekends. The performance review after each audit engagement is subjective and doesn't always reflect the work performed throughout the entire engagement.

Does PwC have a pension plan?

Pros

I have worked for PwC in our Belfast office for around 1 year and I love it. I am proud to say that I work for PwC. The company offer great benefits, good holidays, pension, medical insurance etc, one of their best benefits is their flexible working and work from home policies (and their attitudes towards both of these). The company are very focused on their employees mental health and work life balance, yes you have to work hard in PwC but the flexible approach allows you to do so around important commitments. Their salaries are fair and the opportunities for progression in the company are fantastic. Working for PwC is a career. They offer great opportunities for continuous training and development, that can be one on one, group activities or personal online learning through their learning platform. The work is interesting and ever evolving.

Cons

You do have to work hard and you can be very busy but as long as you have the right attitude it is manageable. There are obviously some politics, some people who like to work their own way and aren't onboard with the technology lead aspect of the company which can make work harder/processes longer than they need to be.
