Does Ritz-Carlton offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great health, dental and vision insurance, great retirement benefits, good hotel benefits, ongoing Ritz-Carlton training.

Cons

massive corporate environment (which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it), work/life balance was sometimes not a priority,

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Employee recognition also goes a long way in ensuring you keep engaged and motivated staff.

Does Ritz-Carlton offer parental leave?

Pros

Good health insurance coverage, cheap dental and vision. Match 401k, paid sick leave and maternal and paternal leave.

Cons

Not regularly staffed, work long hours.

Advice to Management

Pay non- tipped employees better so that they won't want to leave for better opportunities, it will decrease employee turnover. Why work stewarding for 12 dollars an hour with trash, dishes, and hard physical labor, when you can bag groceries and stock down the road for 15? Same with the cooks, they make less than 15 dollars at a ritz carlton when I've seen them get paid better at a small family owned place that only has one locaiton. I'll rate the CEO higher when he pays his employees better wages and stop over working the managers to the point where they hate their lives.

Does Ritz-Carlton have a pension plan?

Pros

Great benefit: Health Insurance, Pension Plan Program, Paid Vacation, Sick Days, Employee Benefit (discount to book hotels or use other Marriott's facilities), Great for the Resume Great Environment, Being respected by the management Working hours (they want to make everyone works for 8hours)| Known goals to achieve

Cons

Unfortunately, you have to say yes to almost all the requests or other options that might be difficult for the employee to do to satisfy the guests. Lack of people developments. Hard to maintain work life balance.

Advice to Management

Develop on people developments for everyone to grow, not only within the departments but also to other departments as well..
