How is the work/life balance at Symbio?

Pros

Great people and work life balance is good

Cons

A lot. They are not ready to pay market price for some reason especially good talent. It is significantly under market price. Really unmotivated and probably won’t stay for long. No bonuses either. Grad program is way to long as well

Advice to Management

Reduce grad program to one year if you do one role or do more rotational roles within the 2 years. I learnt all the skills I needed within 6 months and they expect me to maintain grad level for another 18 months while I have the same output as a normal engineer, pretty wild. Also pay your good talent at minimum market price or you’ll just keep losing more and more excellent workers. Probably the biggest reason why productivity culture in this company is non existent.
