How are the career development opportunities at WorkingMouse?

Pros

A very malleable team adjusting to all the needs of any project on hand Diverse workplace Very good office location Good pay plus benefits

Cons

If there was any to mention, I would say the lack of a big enough team discouraged us from taking certain projects which would have tremendous profits and recognition to our company brand itself

Are transfers to other offices possible with WorkingMouse?

Pros

WorkingMouse has an amazing community and provides plenty of opportunities to work with a diverse range of technologies. If you join WorkingMouse you can expect to be welcomed into a culture that encourages the success of its employees and recognises good work. If you find yourself wanting to try something new there are frequently opportunities to change roles within the company. Similarly, there are opportunities to gain certain qualifications and education with costs subsidised by the company. WorkingMouse also hires university students for some roles, which provides an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to break into the industry early on. The social life at WorkingMouse is excellent: Friday afternoons usually involve an interesting presentation or activity along with drinks, and there are frequently events going on out of work hours. Birthdays and work anniversaries are celebrated communally once a month. I highly recommend WorkingMouse to anyone interested in web application development and support.

Cons

Workload is currently high for Operations Developers as WorkingMouse continues to move towards a more efficient model of managing its distributed environments. WorkingMouse Support sees a high turn over of employees due to primarily hiring university students, who move on to opportunities that better suit their interests. I can only speak to these two departments as they are the only ones I worked in. Neither of these observations should keep anyone interested in WorkingMouse from applying there. The company is great to work for, and is becoming more efficient as it matures.
