The recruiter reached out to me through Indeed. The process was to set up a phone call with the recruiter for the screening. The screening did not occur because I received a schedule from the recruiter for a different day than they had on their calendar. I patiently waited for the phone call and about 8-10 minutes into the call I decided to email the recruiter to figure out if they were busy and needed to reschedule. I didn't hear back until about an hour and a half later. They only replied that they called and it went straight to voicemail twice. I ensured that I was in an area where service is always great and that I was not bothered during that time. I replied back to the recruiter and apologized because things like that does happen, however they did not email me to let me know or tried to contact me through other means such as Indeed. After that I didn't hear anything back. The next day the recruiter called and in an angry and annoyed tone they asked, "do you have time to speak". They didn't introduce themselves or say where they were calling from. I asked if this was AMN Healthcare and if it was regarding the position for what they contacted me at. I stated that our call was for the day prior and she stated that it was on her calendar for "today" and I informed the recruiter that I have it on my calendar for the day before. I stopped it there before it could even proceed because the recruiter just didn't seem professional and wanted to just keep going at it. I told them I'm no longer interested and left it at that. The story doesn't make sense since the recruiter emailed and said that when she called it went to voicemail twice and then telling me that it's on their calendar for the day after. Either way I didn't want to continue to proceed if the recruiter was going to be unprofessional and if this was just a small part of what was to come.
