    Operations Team Leader Interview

    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at ANZ Bank in February 2019.

    Interview

Applied directly to the Company. Had a one hour and twenty five minute interview. Nice people, enough questions to me to make me think there was interest in me. Slightly confusing as they enquired as to what role I was there interviewing for (there was two roles - though clear which one I applied for on their website). Have not heard back from them with any feedback, though I left the manager who contacted me directly a voicemail and a message with HR to give me any feedback. Ongoing, no feedback for nearly fourteen months.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions were around work volumes, what I feel I’d bring to the table and what attracts me to the job. Also a few examples of situations I’ve been in and how I’ve had to remedy them.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ANZ Bank (Singapore (Singapore)) in January 2016.

    Interview

Bad interview as they had to test me before the interview. In the end, i turned down the role given strict process. There were more personality questions than real questions. The interviewer was arrogant and thinks their company is the best to work for.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ANZ Bank (Sydney) in March 2020.

    Interview

There is a pymetric test that you have to complete. There is no real way of practising for this test as the 'games' are really unorthodox and are there to test your personality traits.

Next is a very long personality test of 100 questions where you have to vote " most likely vs least likely" and some were quite difficult in my opinion. Make sure to stay consistent

Next stage is video interview where they ask 6 questions which are mainly behavioural questions so prepare those examples!

I did not make it past the video interview

    Interview Questions

    • Please describe a specific time you joined a team and worked with them to accomplish a common goal. Describe the situation, your actions, and the outcome   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ANZ Bank (Bengaluru (India)) in October 2019.

    Interview

Interview has 5 rounds, pretty easy, everything was conducted within 3 or 4 hours (Very quick)
I cleared all rounds but for the f2f results were supposed to be disclosed the next day. Didn't hear from them even after follow up emails. And this happened both the times I interviewed.
They should know that not communicating negative results is not professional.

Credit Risk Assessment Officer - Home Loans Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Bengaluru (India)

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ANZ Bank (Bengaluru (India)) in December 2019.

    Interview

Although the Interview process was very lengthy and elaborate, it was really fruitful. The Interview began with regular Mental and Arithmetic Aptitude which was followed by Email Composition. After that, there was a voice test followed by a final f2f Interview. I was mildly taken aback since there was no GD round. The Final Round was perhaps the most endearing one since the questions that were asked were very well formulated.

    Interview Questions

    • On what basis would you lend to someone? What factors would you consider are essential for the person to get the maximum loan.   1 Answer
    • In a scenario where the general economic condition is very unsound, how would you go about deciding whether to lend or not?   1 Answer
