I applied online. I interviewed at Adventure Credit Union (Grand Rapids, MI) in Sept 2020
Interview
It's important to understand that the interview process can be slow. Adventure hires employees in waves, having multiple people start on the same day for an extensive 'new employee orientation.'
I applied for a management position and went through three rounds of interviews over the course of a month.
The first interview was with an HR employee. It seems like this first interview was just feeling you out to see if you'll fit the job and the company culture.
Between the 1st and 2nd interviews I was asked to submit a portfolio of my work.
The second interview was with my immediate supervisor and a direct report. This interview had more questions related to the position including strategy, past accomplishments, etc.
The third and final interview was with the CEO. This interview was sort of a blend of the first two interviews. Judging how you'll fit in the organization and testing your aptitude for the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions I encountered were pretty straight forward. Adventure doesn't try trick you or trip you up. If you're qualified for the position and prepared for the interview, you shouldn't have any trouble.
Example questions: Tell me how you define and measure success in your role. Tell me about a problem you've encountered at work and how you handled it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Adventure Credit Union (Grand Rapids, MI) in June 2017
Interview
Applied online, had a brief phone interview, received communications via email for in person interview, met with hiring manager and HR at the main location on 36th St in Wyoming, received form letter for stating they went with another candidate after more than a month. I have attempted to reach out for feedback on my interview and no one from the company has called me back.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adventure Credit Union
Interview
Applied on the companies website. About a week later received a phone call to schedule an interview. Interview was scheduled within a week. Interview questions are basic. Be ready to have good example for your experience and knowledge. Inter took about an half hour tops. No surprising questions were asked during the interview.
