I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Affirm (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Very disappointing. Had a first round call with HR regarding my background and fit. Got a rejection the next day without any feedback. I know from experience that I was a good fit for this role (worked for 2 years in a similar role in the past). At least I deserved to be interviewed further or at least share the feedback with the candidate. Our time is as valuable as yours.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Affirm (New York, NY) in July 2020
Interview
Hiring manager found me on LinkedIn, applied to the role and had a phone screen with the recruiter.
Next round was call with the hiring manager going over the role/responsibilities, standard first round interview.
Next round was SQL business case study.
Final round, multiple interviews.
Call with director, cross-functional partners, case presentation with the team, and final call with the hiring manager. Quick wrap up with the recruiter.
Heard back with an offer a few days later.
Throughout the entire process the recruiter was extremely communicative and helpful. I received constant emails with schedules and updates if the schedules changed. There were no uncertainties as to the process/ what I can expect during my interviews. Very well manager process.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Affirm (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
To start off: Affirm is the best company that I've interviewed with in the entire recruiting season - the recruiter is on top of things (always replies immediately and super helpful), everyone I met and talked to is extremely intelligent and cares about the customers at Affirm
1) 2 phone interviews with hiring managers: basically just a review of background, a mini case study about Affirm's product, and to assess interest and knowledge about the company (at the intersection of payments, credit, and ecommerce)
2) 24 Hours Take Home Analytics exercise: could be done in Python, R, or SQL, basically an assessment of data manipulation and some technical skills. Need to produce a presentation afterwards
3) Onsite: 4 one to one interviews, 2 behavioural and chatting about experiences, 1 business case study and 1 technical interview. Be prepared for some maths and whiteboard coding
