My interview experience with Allegiant team was wonderful and pleasing! I’m very pleased with the company, the recruiters that were there, they were also very nice, friendly and professional. I also like how the interview process went. I apply online on 10/10/15. On 10/12/15 I was selected to participate in a video interview which consisted of 5 questions that you will record your response. The questions are about situations and how you handle it; you have to answer the questions according to your work/personal experiences in this form: what was the situation, what actions did you took and what was the result of the action. When recording, if you are not happy with your response, it allows you to re-record your response if you are not happy with the first response. On 10/20/15 I was invited for a f2f interview at St. Pete/Clearwater. Got there in 20 minutes, no hassle, parking access was easy, right across from the airport where the interview was going to take place. I thought I had to walk a mile to get to the interview room, but as soon you enter the first sliding doors, immediately on your left is an elevator to go to the second floor. Then on the second floor, you open a door to enter, you see a long hallway with F/A candidates standing. I thought there were going to be 100’s of candidates for my 1:00 PM interview, but there were around 20 other candidates waiting anxiously, breaking the ice with one another, everyone was cool and nice. So when I got there, Allegiant was still interviewing candidates from the early session. Once in a while an Allegiant recruiter will come out from the main conference room where the interview was taking place, to inform us about the process and soon it will be our turn for the 1:00 PM company presentation. So we enter the conference room, we sign and grab a seat around a large conference table or on seats against the wall or windows. All the Allegiant recruiters were very welcoming, outgoing, friendly, happy and some were funny. Everyone had big smiles and happy for us to be there. The first hour consisted of company presentation following answering questions for candidates. Then we took around 10 minutes break to use restroom or drink water. Then they divided us in two groups. Two recruiters were in charge of our group. They told us what to do; state your name, number, your prefer base, and immediately recite the announcement that was sent to you on email. There were cards on the floor in front of each chair where we were sitting at. Then they pair us up in 2’s to work in a scenario. My partner and I picked up a flashcard from the floor. This scenario was about discussing with your partner a situation, this is like a teamwork kind of thing, you want to discuss to the recruiters what would you do allowing your partner to pitch in as well, don’t take over the whole scenario. So one of read the question aloud to the group and then my partner and I took turns in explaining what we would do. Then they asked everyone to leave the room for a few minutes for them to discuss who’s in for the following process. They came back and called a group of people back in the room and then they were dismissed. The remaining group was asked to come back in the room for a one on one, f2f interview. Again, the recruiters really did their best to make you feel comfortable and at ease; my recruiter was very nice and friendly even took the time to read my resume in front of me. He asked me around 5 questions that you also need to answer in STAR format. Tell me about a Situation, what was the Action you took, and what was the Result. After my interview, he told me I will receive an email within a week or two. I was not given any paperwork to bring home which I saw candidates from previous f2f interview session leave with. I’m not thinking negative, but I wasn’t given those papers, that’s why I feel I didn’t made it with the f2f interview. I’m hoping for the best and I hope I’m wrong because I fell in love with Allegiant! the company is a great place to work for and I always hear great things about the company; both from people I know and random people. Wishing the best!!!
