Amazon Country Development Manager interview questions

Phone Interview went well, the interviewer says for sure within 2 days the HR will contact me for on site interview. However I waited 3 days, no contact. When I tried to reach the responsible HR, she's on holiday, then I try to contact the replace HR of her duty, the replace HR is also on personal leave for 2 days....so I called the 3rd degree replacement HR, of course she knows nothing about my case. She only said "you should wait." Then I just got a reject E-Mail after 2.5 weeks of waiting. I felt there's a chance being screwed up by the HRs.
