I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
The whole process took about two months. Two phone interviews and then a final loop. The process was great, everything was communicated well. I felt very supported by my recruiter.
The phone interviews were very structured, I met with one with the same position I was applying for and then the second was a manager.
The final loop was with 7 people, 5 rounds back to back. Most of the people were extremely kind and attentive. One round had an individual that was just on their phone. I’m not sure if that’s some sort of tactic but it rubbed me off the wrong way, especially with it being virtual and all. Other than that, I’m thankful for the experience. It took weeks of prep so you’ll have that set with you at the end of the day.
You got this. Be proud of yourself for landing an interview. My biggest advice is to relax on the day of and be confident in yourself.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Practice leadership principles, most importantly the key words in questions and which principles they relate to
In total I interviewed with about 10 people. By far the longest interview process I’ve ever undergone. The first interview was a standard phone screen. The subsequent interviews were more thorough spread across multiple days. On one day I interviewed with up to 6 people.
An online assessment, followed by an hour-long virtual screen, followed by 3 hour-long virtual interviews back-to-back. Almost all questions were behavioral, related to Amazon's Leadership Principles. Rounds were about two weeks apart, contacted very quickly after application.

Question 1
"Describe a time when you got more than halfway done with something and realized you had to start over"
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Austin, TX) in July 2025
Interview
Long process - 3-6 months. All I can say is that you must be fluent in the Amazon Management Principles as well as knowing the STAR method. This helped tremendously throughout the process.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you.... etc and then it'll be about one of the management principles. They will also follow up and dig more and more about the STAR responses. So understand what you're saying.
