I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2023
Interview
When you go in to interview, you'll go to the recruitment center. There are typically a lot of people there, so don't think you'll just be in and out. The longest part of the interview is the wait to actually meet with someone. Once they call your name, you'll go to a booth and they'll ask you for your social security and ID. They'll ask you about your preferred schedule, any accomodations you may need, and walk you through the process of being accepted and beginning training. Then, you'll do your drug test in a separate room using a cheek swab. Once the results of your drug and background tests come back clean, they'll email you and you get started with the hiring process.

Question 1
Are you planning on taking any vacations in the next year?
Not too bad pretty easy and straightforward, simple question surrounding handling and moving. Make sure you know basic safety rules as they will ask you, for example how do you carry heavy items.
Apply online, go to the on-site office for oral drug swab and ID picture. Start date is assigned once background check comes back. The actual start date will depend on how fast the check comes back but isn't normally delayed.
Very simple and straight forward. Drug Test and Valid ID. Very few forms to to complete and a very short waiting time. The staff was very professional and efficient. Helped you with any questions or parts that you were unsure about.
