I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Income Life (Palm Springs, CA) in June 2023
Interview
It started as a mass zoom where they layed out the Criteria of the job pretty thoroughly. And if we were still interested, we had to fill out some information and if we were picked would be having a 101 second interview. The process itself was very informative. The first one and the individual interview was pretty straightforward and easy, and I was excited to to join.

Question 1
Why do you wanna work for us? What do you think is different about our procedure or type of insurance?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Income Life (Miami, FL) in Apr 2023
Interview
It’s a MLM. They try to make you believe you’re being “chosen” which automatically gave me the idea of how the entire business is ran. Deceiving and vague. They won’t ever deny you lol, it’s a MLM, they make money off more agents, probably less money off the actual sales of insurance. Everyone has to pay 30 a month to be part of the union, to get leads. I’ve read the leads are crap as well. Sooo not sure how much flexibility you’ll have. Since leads aren’t good. Also they say they give you 60 leads and then half of the referrals you ask for. So if you get 10 referrals they’ll give you 5 leads. Now if the leads are horrible, which I’ve read everywhere they are. Imagine that only 10% would turn to an appointment. So out if 100 leads 10 become an appointment usually out of 10 appointments you’ll make 1-2 sales. I’ve been in insurance sales 13 years, and 10% closing ratio is average. It all depends on lead quality. So if you had better quality you’d be better off. But everywhere I read they say they’re filling out forms for free things and then you have to bait and switch them into a sale for life insurance.

Question 1
They don’t ask you anything other than why would they choose you? Which is a way of making you feel special, like you won’t be chosen.trust me, no MLM would ever turn away a new agent.
