      Finance Intern Interview

      6 Oct 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Cupertino, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Oct 2009

      Interview

The first round interview is very casual. They asked me mostly behavioral questions. The person interviewing me was a recent graduated. It was basically looking for a fit. Second round was in Cupertino at their headquarters and I met with 4 different people, then went to lunch with FDPs. You meet with the person in charge of the post-graduate program. They were all very nice and I rarely received a technical question.

Went through three rounds of interviews. Was caught off guard on the informality of the third interview and the lack of questions asked, more of a conversation.

      Finance Intern Interview

      14 Nov 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer

      Application

      I interviewed at Apple

      Interview

Scheduled an interview through campus career center. Interview was exclusively behavioral: don't expect questions on your econ/finance classes, or even Excel experience. Apple seems to be very interested in finding people who "fit" with Apple culture. Numerous questions about favorite classes, what makes you unique, challenging experiences, etc. Be prepared for weird behavioral questions: what kind of animal would you be, what's the craziest thing you've done, etc.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Give me an example of a time you experienced failure. What was the situation, and what did you learn from the experience?
