After spending 2 days on the design challenge i got a canned response saying i didn't get the job. I pushed for more info and was told that they had too many applicants to respond to me. Very unprofessional after putting so much effort in. The design challenge was a redesign of their working app (which is a bit questionable to ask someone to do). The role was for UI design but they were judging on UX. The initial. interview was a quick 30 min chat with one of the founders which was pleasant and surface level.
