It was a lie, it was not business consultant it was sales. It’s not marketing either which they also advertise. There’s three stages to the interview and let me tell you it’s easy. I was sat in the lobby for about an hour before my interview talking to the receptionist who is the only positive and nice person there, she was great. They did not tell me you had to QUALIFY to get the basic pay of £250 which you only get once. They told me this was guaranteed. It’s 100% commission based. After I left this is not the first time they’ve guaranteed it they also said it to various candidates. I had to tell them there and then if I wanted the job, I had to cancel my plans to come to the next interview. They said it’s very hard to get a position with them but they offer it to everybody.

Went for my interview a few months ago and still feel disgusted with the company and the process every time I think about it. ! THIS COMPANY ISNT EVENT MANAGEMENT / MARKETING ! it’s just sales - standing for hours on end in shopping malls badgering customers to sign their stuff. Oh, and it’s commission only so you barely get paid. Cyril, the CEO interviewing me, was really weird and kept pressuring me and calling me a bad team player to cancel my next day plans so I could come stand for hours watching their staff harass customers. He literally wouldn’t take no for an answer and he came across as quite creepy and demanding, saying “This shows you’re bad at prioritising and that you’re not dedicated.” Like.....you’re telling me to cancel plans a day in advance...the world doesn’t revolve around your pyramid scheme hun.... They also play mind tactics with you, saying “Very few people get hired” and “you’re special for making this far” - get real, everyone was hired that day because the company has such a high turnover rate. Bad hours, bad pay, and false job advertising. No wonder they’re playing these stupid mind games to trick people into working there. Also, one of the employees during my ‘trial shift’ (standing next to them and watching them harass people) kept making inappropriate comments about my body and dating life and ended up asking for my phone number. I declined, obviously.
