I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in July 2021
Interview
Initial recruiter chat.
Then two coding interviews back to back.
Then system design
Then leadership
Recruiter feedback was quick and was decent valuable feedback.
I thought i didn't do well in the coding.
But moved into further rounds.
Then system design i think i did average. Leadership average.
So overall my performance was probably just average.
They look for you to share your IDE and write code and test it.
So you need to construct ways to input test data too. So somstimes can be quite tims consuming to implement. Different from the usual white board test run through scenarios in mind Ive mostly been practicing for.
Recruiter reached out to me then ghosted in the middle of trying to set up a meeting. Very disrespectful of my time. Just as well, how a company treats candidates is usually a good indicator of how they treat employees
Didnt get past OA, heard now has ai process. People are good but company is going downhill. Unfortunate for all good culture fits there s a lack of opportunity admist apex reviews to produce meaningful work.
Nice interviewer but i did not get an offer. good experience anyway i think.
I have heard good things about the company culture so i think it would be a good place to work
