I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Automata Technologies (London, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
It was an introductory interview. I was given an some information about the company and their product and then an explanation of what the customer success team does. I was then asked to give an introduction myself and tell the interviewer a bit about my experience and interests.
The interviewer was pleasant - the only reason I list this as a negative experience is that they took 2 weeks to get back to me. I think this doesn't show much courtesy given it was a short first interview. If you are obviously not interested then it does not take that long to let me know.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Automata Technologies (Houston, TX) in June 2024
Interview
Referred by a partner recruiter working with the company via a LinkedIn message. Responded a few days afterwards, but still interested. Several discussions and emails with the recruiter. One videoconference with the hiring manager and separately with two other employees I'd have been working with. Was told things were going very well and then radio silence for two weeks. Heard that the position was not offered to me via the recruiter. Whole process was about 1.5 months. Recruiter was traveling part of this time so I was referred to another person with their firm. Led to a longer application process.
