I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Axle Executives (Austin, TX) in Sept 2019

      Interview

Pretty easy interview, you sit down and get to know the owner. Then, your second round you go to a pop-up event they are doing and then third round you are back with the owner discussing deeper into salaries.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Axle Executives (Austin, TX) in Oct 2019

      Interview

This “company” is an absolute joke. Their recruitment consists of posting multiple jobs with slightly different titles despite the fact that they’re all the exact same position. What’s originally described as “training” is actually just the REQUIRED entry level position that they make all new hires do regardless of their experience and credentials. It’s NOT training, and you have to be “PROMOTED” up the hierarchy. The first TWO required positions are direct selling inside of Costco’s and Sam’s. I genuinely feel bad for the people who are naive and/or inexperienced enough to accept such horrible pay, hours, etc. Everyone involved with Axle should feel terrible about the dishonest and misleading recruitment tactics; be honest from the start about the position and just accept the fact that no self-respecting, experienced person with a Bachelors degree would work here for such ridiculously low compensation.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The “CEO” asked VERY few questions. The few questions she did ask were very basic such as “do you think you could do this job?”

Thank you for your feedback, however we do want to address a few things. We are looking for people with different skill sets and levels, as well as offer different positions so claiming we hire for the "exact same position" is defamatory of our recruiting process. Furthermore, you interviewed for one position with us which we mutually decided wasn't a great fit so making that accusatory statement without evidence doesn't seem fair. It also seems unfair to "feel bad for people who are naive and/or inexperienced enough to accept" a position with us, when in fact they are now currently employed and wanting to better themselves. We apologize this wasn't a great fit, but judging other people based on their goals and what they want to improve on and saying they don't respect themselves because they like a position with us, is a mentality we're not willing to have on our team regardless. We wish you the best of luck and hope you find a position that you respect.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Axle Executives (Austin, TX) in May 2019

      Interview

Dragged into high expectations, but ended up being a rather simple and downgrade of my skill set. Advertised as Marketing Assistant and Management Trainee but end up selling products of "clients" at local Walmarts.

Thank you for your feedback on our interview process! We're not entirely clear on what you mean by "dragged into high expectations," as there is a thorough phone screening prior to someone coming into an interview. We pride ourselves on being direct and concise when explaining the role. Regardless, we wish you the best of luck in your career search!
