This was followed by partner interview. Again, very similar to the first one. Started with basic stuff such as walk through your cv, your past experiences, then moved on to some technical aspects which covered International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
Was offered employment during the second interview. Accepted but then heard nothing.
Followed by HR evaluation (at least thats what i was told) but this process took another 5 weeks.
Finally 2 months later asked again if you are still interested in working for us please let us know.

Interview
goodA typical interview process starts when you submit an application and a recruiter reviews it to see if you meet the basic requirements. If you’re a match, you’re invited to an initial interview where they ask about your background and interest in the role. After that, you may complete a skills assessment or have a second interview with the hiring manager or team. Finally, the company makes a decision and sends an offer to the chosen candidate.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BDO (Singapore) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview session was quick and straightforward, with practical questions. The interviewer is patient waiting for my answer, and also guide me through when I am not able to answer them.

Interview
I hold professional and master qualifications with over 10 years of experience in accounting and auditing. I recently interviewed with a BDO consultant over the phone and was told I'd receive a response by the end of the next day. Despite sending two follow-up emails and making several phone calls, I was unable to reach anyone. Eventually, I received a three-line email saying after 2 weeks I was not selected, without any explanation. I emailed to ask for feedback but haven't received a response from the person I spoke with. Instead, I received a generic email from BDO stating I was not successful. I am disappointed by the lack of seriousness and professionalism in the interview process. I don't expect to be selected every time, but I do expect a responsive and respectful process. Many professionals are working hard to advance their careers, so it's important not to mislead them. If you're not serious about offering a reasonable interview process, please don't call. Thank you.
