I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life in June 2011
Interview
I received a call from the administrator of the office that they had came across my resume on some online job site such as monster.com or careerbuilder.com and was asked to come in for a first interview. This first interview consisted of myself and up to 10 other people sitting in a conference room and being shown a presentation explaining the company and talking up their commission structure. The second interview they went more in depth into their pay structure; most of the time was spent saying how commission jobs are so much better than salary jobs because there are no limits on what you make. Me being a hopefully college grad, I happily agreed to come back for a 3rd interview where I was offered a position and paid a few hundred dollars for training and supplies.
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
