I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (Laredo, TX) in July 2015
Interview
I was called into their back office where I was interviewed by the General Manager. He asked me several questions about my tech knowledge and interests, gauged me on what I knew about Best Buy and enticed me with all the benefits and cool facts about Best Buy Culture. After assessing me he offered me several positions based on my knowledge base and then introduced me to the team in a brief tour after I accepted.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
I got called two days after I sent my application. There were two interviews, one with the district manager and then if you get the green light you have the store manager to which you applied for. Asked simple questions about how you are as a person, what would you bring to the company, and why they should hire you.

Interview
Was hired on the spot after my interview and received offer letter in two days, background check took a while. The entire process took around 1 month from applying to my first day. I applied on the 21st of august and received a call about my interview the following day. Interviewed on the 24th and received my offer letter the 26th. My start day was pushed because of delay in my background check. Official start day was on September 27th.
Overall good interview, easy and standard questions that if you just take a few moments to think over your reply most are great! Experience is not necessary at all.
