I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Bose (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
It was a brief interview that lasted about 10 minutes. I was greeted by the Store Manager, and she was the sole person to conduct the interview. There was a candidate behind me that waited until my meeting ended (so it was not a group interview).
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The Store Manager asked why I wanted to work at Bose, and if I would be fine with standing long periods of time without much to do (which struck me as a bit strange since there's always something to do in retail).
The Store Manager called after my interview and said an internal applicant had been chosen for the position. It sounded like the decision was predetermined and the job had to be posted for HR reasons. Sadly, I would sum it up by saying the experience was a waste of time.
Few steps. One f2f interview one phone interview going up the management. They ask questions about yourself and asked questions about how to sell. Then the phone interview was to build rapport with the top manager. Very heirarchical structure.

Quick and easy process, was just a one to one interview with the store manager, was quite relaxed, lasted around 30 mins and he gave lots of feedback about my answers after each question
