I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Maple Grove, MN)
Interview
Went through a recruiter first and had a screening interview, then met with a manager and senior engineer over video a few days later to formally interview for the position.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boston Scientific in Feb 2012
Interview
We went through my resume and he asked me technical questions regarding the various positions that I held. For example, I did lab work pertaining to signal processing so he asked me "What is the difference between a Fourier Transform and a Laplace Transform?" I'm also doing a concentration in statistics so he asked me "Name some different statistical tests and a real world application for them?" and "Name the different probability distributions that you know and real world application for them?"
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when it was difficult to work well with others and how you overcame it
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Galway) in July 2011
Interview
Three interviews, first with HR and the second with two Senior Engineers.
HR has the regular behavioural-team player questions. Nothing unusual.
One interview with the staffing agency, but it was rather a interview preparation training (I didn't expected that.)
Problem solving, process validation, documentation creation the main topics with the engineers. They were very professional.
