I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Caffè Nero (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2019
Interview
It was a typical interview process, running through your CV. It included a trial-day on making various coffee which was allocated to another day, to ensure your comfort in making coffees.

Question 1
how do you handle disagreements between staff members?
Basic questions about yourself and your work experience, questions on leading a team and your knowledge of the company. Covering work hours and different branches if needed. What do you know about Caffè Nero.
They said they would call me for a telephone interview and never bothered. Emailed to follow up but never heard anything back from them. I personally wouldn't bother with them anymore
I applied online. I interviewed at Caffè Nero in Oct 2024
Interview
Interview feels more casual, fast paced. Had a quick tour of the cafe once it ended. Staff seemed friendly too, so overall not a bad experience. Cafe was a little busy so a bit hard to hear and focus, but that makes it feel less daunting.
