They reached me and made an appointment for the technical interview. There were 2 managers in the first meeting. The meeting was about my experience. They asked me for some technical questions and about my experience.

Question 1
- Can you please explain yourself?
- Can you please explain your experience?
Dear colleague,
thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the application process at Capgemini. It is great to read that you overall had a positive experience and that you finally chose Capgemini as your new employer.
Welcome to the team, I wish you a good start with us and a lot of fun with your new challenges.
Best regards
Carina Schmitz,
Digital HR Marketing Specialist
Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini in May 2018
Interview
There was a large group interview. Involved a group activity first which included deciding a technology which would help a business. After, there was a range of writing and prioritizing tasks. At the end there was a 1 on 1 interview. The day was enjoyable but it was a very long process to get the interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Capgemini (London, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
Contacted by recruitment team early Jan 2016, completed situational online assessments within a week and had a phone interview mid Feb 2016. Assessment centre is in 2 days (March 2016). Now I'm coming close to the assessment centre date, it is becoming apparent that the initial recruiter didn't explain the role very clearly and accurately. Also, a separate Capgemini recruiter who handles applicants after the online testing stage (so basically before Phone Interview stage), is not too sharp either. Fortunately, she forwarded my questions to a Hiring Manager who was very competent.
Interview questions [5]
Question 1
For the phone interview I was asked -
Why do you want to work in technology and for Capgemini in particular?
5) Tell me about a time you overcame a tricky situation. How did you do it?
6) How do you feel about challenging work?
7) How do you feel about asking questions?
8) You have been given a task, a colleague tells you straight away he has a lead that can provide a solution though you are not sure. Do you back him or decide to do your own research?
