I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Blacksburg, VA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The interview was three parts, a case study, a technical portion, and a behavioral interview.
For the case study, you had to describe the logistics of acquiring a company and the different issues you might run into during the acquisition.
The technical questions were just questions about algorithms. My interviewer wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing or saying, so it felt a little uncomfortable.
The behavioral portion asked questions about different projects I've had and what sort of strategies I used to deal with problems in those projects.
Overall, it wasn't that difficult of an interview looking back on it.
